Kids in the Kitchen Kits
The ten items young chefs (and all chefs) need.
- Measuring spoon set.
- Measuring cup sets: one for dry ingredients and one for wet.
- Wooden spoon for mixing.
- Apron (or large shirt that can get messy).
- Potholders or oven mitts that are flexible and easy to clean.
- Small knife (plastic or metal, as appropriate for your child’s age and motor skills).
- Vegetable peeler.
- Rubber spatula.
- Small cutting board.
- A plastic storage box or tool kit to keep his chef’s gear together.
